Profile:
As most Vehicon troops, Steelfrost trained on the Nemesis as a new recruit. Not a very social mech, he took to spending time with himself and the weapons cache. Here he was able to familiarize his servos with most weapons. It was difficult to find one that would cause as much harm as his large fists he could.
Stumbling upon a staff was a god-send, since most troops relied on their personal blasters and blades. Not this mech. He enjoyed
staying away at a distance and firing at scattered Autobots as much as the next mech, but here was weapon he could actually wield to its full capacity. Swinging a stick around was not much of a skill, so he tried various adornments on its ends. Blades, spikes, and prods were not powerful enough. So why not use a weight?
He used a heavier and lighter on each end to even it out, and out came Bruiser. And it lived quite faithfully up to its name. Sparring became a new pass-time, and this led to Steelfrost making more acquaintances than one would think. He was more burly than most Vehicons, and made a worthy opponent.
Over time he was able to climb through the ranks with his wit and now accomplished people skills. Well, if you called people skills intimidating and yelling at the top of your lungs. Being a Troop Leader had its perks, but also many downsides. One of which was watching friends, old and new, gunned down with no mercy.
Seeing it over and over and over again hardened him to a point where each day was a blur of death and singed plating. Then came the day he was employed to guard a recent influx of miners to the lower energon deposits. It was a popular site of past battles with the Autobots, so being one of the stronger soldiers he was sent to guard the troop.
Among them were the small and demure Yvette, along with the fiery medic Dahl. While he was not that interested in flirting, Steelfrost enjoyed their company immensely. He may or may not had become Yvette's guardian, as she could be easily taken advantage of.
A surprise Autobot ambush took away what was left of the elite miners, only the small femmes being rescued. Their families and friends were among those slaughtered in cold blood, and that was the last straw for Steelfrost.
Tired of losing so many soldiers, and now this, the trio disbanded officially from the Nemesis Battalion. He was able to set up a remote mining operation in the dessert, where Steelfrost could operate on his own terms. He now runs it with an iron servo, but at least his soldiers are safe. Well...from being crushed to death at least. Escaping Dahl's temper is another thing entirely...
Steelfrost is rather steely as his designation implies, not being outwardly friendly unless he is near good friends such as Dahl and Yvette. That is actually about it. He can be very short-tempered at times, but means well-ish. At times he tries to remember that the war is hard for all of them, and to treat his soldiers with some dignity. As long as they stay in line, everything will go fine.
Being the chief weighs on his processor sometimes, and it can be hard to rid the stress. So he either helps with mining or spars with his soldiers to calm. He tries not to form too many close relations because as many things, they can be broken within an instant. There is nothing wrong with a soldier taking on a unique designation, as he believes it builds character and motivation. It is always good for another to have your back.
When it comes to deserters, there is no leeway. Steelfrost despises all traitors with a passion, almost as much as he does the Autobots. Who were primarily the reason he lost so many soldiers.
Steelfrost is more heavily built than most Vehicons, and his staff reflects that. It is called the Bruiser for a reason, which packs a punch just as his armored fists. As most Vehicons his servos transform into cannon and blades. His are longer, as close combat is a specialty of his.
Meeting new bots is slightly still rocky, but he has something resembling social skills. As long as you aren't prissy, an aft, or just plain stupid you are fine in his book. Just know how to fire a cannon.
Though some have difficulty understanding him. Whit coods possibly cause 'at?
