Watertight jerked his head up, seeing that Team Alpha was on the move. He pursed his lips slightly, realizing he was the only one unable to get airborne. After arching himself, he took off. The three claws on his feet gripped what little there was to grip in the sand. He was thankful, at least, that he was fast. The blue robot made a rather quick turn to take to the far right of the battle. For a moment, he shifted his weight foreword and dropped, propelling himself using all four his limbs - not at all seeming bothered by the more animalistic movement. Watertight wanted to kept low to avoid being spotted. No, no, no - he was NOT ready to fight, thank you! He seriously wanted to avoid it if he could. Obviously, though, it couldn't have been at the cost of leaving someone in danger. But as is, it didn't appear as though anyone on his team was in need of his help.
Watertight stopped, still in a crawling position. Craning his neck and remaining motionless, he took in his surroundings. There wasn't smell or sound of any enemies within a dangerous proximity. Quickly thinking, it appeared to him to be an excellent time to observe. He was happier getting a good idea of how whatever he needed to confront acted, so he could predict and adjust himself accordingly. Checking, he noted that he was in a decent proximity to his team members. He'd take the time to be hidden until they needed to move again.
The spider gave him a small idea. The blue Autobot reared up a small bit taller before jumping around. Legs shifting in and neck and tail growing, he transformed into his serpent mode. Upon landing, he flattened himself and shook until a thin layer of sand obscured his beast-like shape. Hopefully, he wasn't spotted as he transformed, because that would thoroughly ruin his plans of espionage. He doubted he could "swim" through the sand like he could water, so he stayed put. Besides, if anyone came his way, he could pop out of the sand and scare the bejezzus out of them, then get a few good venomous bites in. Watertight might have battled outright, if he was comfortable with a strategy, which he wasn't yet. But he planned to create one. The snake robot stayed still.

Aegis gave a com-click of acknowledgement before swooping down to strafe the battlefield with her gatling guns. Her initial assessment of Laser's capabilities were swiftly proven right as the guardian exited the ship and layed his associates attackers low in one fell swoop. Wheeling away, the femme climbed and opened comm again, advising the party below:
"Spitfire weapons systems armed and active. Will commence bombing raid on ground installations. Please maintain safe distance to minimise casualties."
Switching to directly address Tecton directly, she closed:
"Tecton: Suggested tactic is a two-prong approach. Follow in my wake, use EM to disable those fleeing in light of detonations. Acknowledge please."
With that, Aegis opened her cargo doors and began her attack, levelling the nearby installations with cluster bombs as she passed overhead.
Jumpstart headed out into the thick of the rust storm, swapping his recently acquired side-arm for the rifle. Dropping to a crouch, he began to pick out his most likely targets; stragglers recovering from Laser's initial attack. Taking a steady aim, he disabled the two nearest with a single shot each. The first to the lower dorsal area, paralysing the mech; the second with a shot to the patellal junction, effectively 'kneecapping' him.
Satisfied that they no longer posed an immediate threat, the medic moved out onto the field using his onboard tech to locate those beyond visual radius in the storm.

"Acknowledged. Lead the way Miss." Tecton follows Aegis' path through the sky, doing as instructed.
The ship finally begins to assist the battle, remaining cloaked it begins targeting groups of the soldiers a little further afield, firing explosive rounds into the mass.
Cutlass jams the blade into the face of one of the soldiers, and looks over for a moment to check how Shortwave is doing. "That's some impressive accuracy you've got there." He pulls out one of his energon pistols and hands it to her. "Try this one out. I'll be wanting it back mind." One of the soldiers jammed a short knife into Cutlass' side while he was distracted. "Gah! You're in for it now!" He swings round giving the bot a large gash across his chest and then finishing him off with a point blank shot to the abdomen. Another of them tries to grab at Beam but Cutlass swings round near takes it's head clean off. He kicks away the rest of the bot. "Go after the little lass and yer loose yer head." Satisfied that the immediate threats were taken care of he looks down at Beam. "We're gunna have to get moving. Still not seen Spironok yet. You should be alright to climb up for now." He goes down on one knee to let her climb up. At the same time he takes out one of the bottles and takes a few mouthfuls before putting it back. With a whole lot of luck most of the shots fired at him had either ricocheted off his armor or just grazed him, the only real damage so far was from the knife.
Volca charged forward firing her plasma cannon at everything that tried to attack her finishing off any who survived with a swing of the sword. As soon as she was momentarily safe she would check herself over for damage already in the knowledge that she had been hit at least a few times so far.

Shortwave took the pistol it was far heavier than the SMGs she was used to.. well those days daydreaming about joining the Lightning coalition were adout to come true...well sort off. " Honestly i'm not sure what happened there." She admitted transforming and useing the heavier machine gun to lay suppresing fire on the Thetapticons. this was her this was Shortwave by by Magnawave. so long old life old memorys.. well the ones that were still intact along with parts of her old peronality. "If you dont mind me asking whats the plan? other than improvise i mean." She joked transforming back just as a Seeker strafed towards them flames and smoke spewing from the luckless Thetapticons wings. then it happened again the calculations thousands of mass times velocity ect ect. quickly she pushed the larger bot away then watched as the luckless Con plowed head forst into the ground braking apart on contact. "Ok are you as freeked out as i am buy what i just did?" She asked the bucanear as he took out another soldier. no time to worry about..whatever that was. she thaught blasting the seekers face with the pistol before returning to her hovercar mode and continuing with the suppresion fire as Cutlass took a swig of whatever that was.

((BTW Shortwave not that it really matters much, but these are Thetacons that we are engaged with at the moment. We've yet to meet up with the Decepticons yet. )) Laser left nothing but smoke and ruin in his wake. He passed through the privateers like a prophet passing fatal judgement. Shards of glass flew in all directions where the extreme heat of his firepower had scorched to the sand past its natural form. A small airship carrier floated up from behind a sand dune, targeting the Guardian and lighting into him with heavy fire. The rounds smacked into him, forcing him backward. Laser held his ground, the long pole on his back adjusting itself. Without a word, he fired a punishing blast from his rail gun. It peeled into the hull of the aircraft, and it struggled to uphold flight. But then the second shot came, sending a blast of fire from the exit wound and causing the engine to cry out. It spiraled out of control, blowing up even before it hit the ground and killing quite a few soldiers around it. "Roger Spitfire. Autobots reading and recognizing the painted zone and tagged bogeys, danger close. Strike clean and true."*************** Beam kind of half-assedly grinned at Shortwave. " Uh yeah, you're doing fine." Turning her attention to the battlefield, she nervously watched as the other Autobots seemed to effortlessly dissipate and destroy the privateer forces. She hoped they would have this much success inside the vault. Following Cutlass's orders she crawled up on him and secured herself, watching as Laser sent countless soldiers to hell. She couldn't really tell were he was...but quickly identified the shifting winds in the storm and the mass of swirling sand making up a humongous body. "Whoa..."*********** Spironok took complete advantage of the distraction the other bots were creating to pick off the stragglers. There was no escaping the creature. It moved through the sand like a fish through water, easily overtaking the enemies and dragging them beneath the surface, where they were quickly eaten...usually alive. It saw one big soldier panicking and running away. He turned around to shoot at Spironok every so often, whimpering and tripping through the terrain. The creature grinned to itself and began it's slow pursuit, building up for the launch. Then the soldier tripped over Watertight. Spironok was already in midlaunch whenever it realized the soldier had fell on his face. The result was the same for the spider. It too, was left flailing in the sand, trying to regain footing.

((OOC: If anyone wants to play in as the opposition against either of my two, please feel free ^^))
Aegis chose her targets carefully. Even as the small, otherwise innocuous looking cluster devices were dispatched, she banked to a knife-edge, minimising her profile to those enemies below. The first detonation was deliberately minimal, designed to disperse the small pellets that formed the deadly payload of the device, but those that followed from the pellets in its wake proved beyond doubt that the femme was far more dangerous than many would anticipate - unless they knew the history of her aeroform.
The first of her targets fell swiftly, the installation collapsing inward into a crater as a sequence of explosions ripped through it. The ordnance stored within the temporary facility detonated in turn, casting shards of contorted metal in all potential directions from its destruction, leaving a mushroom cloud of superheated smoke hanging in the air. Those few unlucky enough to have been inside the installation died swiftly, incinerated by this last fiery gasp from within.
Peeling away from Tecton to allow him to carry out his aspect of the attack, Aegis executed a barrel roll in salute of the clean kill and moved to flank the mech defensively, taking a position to the rear and left of him as she opened comm:
"Advisory: Confirm first target neutralised, moving on second.
Tecton: Proceed as indicated at your discretion. Guns are armed. Will hold guarding position at point seven as you descend."
Jumpstart had quickly stowed his rifle as he'd moved away from the ship. While it was a fair weapon, his favoured approach was close quarters. Almost stalking, the medic picked a third target amongst the throng, a moderately built mech slightly larger than himself. The difference wasn't a concern though.
Pulling a quick switch, the medic took his alt-form and locked his front braking system. Gunning the gas, his rugged rear tyres munched the loose surface, kicking it into the air to deliberate effect, obscuring him from immediate view in a cloud.
The mech turned at the sound, weapons drawn, but the medic held his ground.
"C'mon then....I ain't in the mood t' play cat 'n mouse. Bring it, waster."
Releasing his braking system, Jumpstart launched himself at the unfortunate soldier, taking a few hits from the laser fire his opponent returned as he closed and transformed to lunge at the mech. The two fell, the soldier feeling the full force of blow after blow as the medic took the day's frustrations out on his plating, the long-blade knife locked to his gauntlet exacting a heavy toll. The mech managed to get an arm up to guard, deflecting the assault for a few klicks, the reprieve was short-lived though as the medic grabbed the presented limb. An agonised scream was ripped from the soldier, then everything went dark; the result of several thousand volts coursing through his systems.
No-one ever said a medic had to 'play nice' in a situation like this. As long as the damage wasn't fatal Jumpstart considered the result acceptable.
Climbing to his feet, leaving the 'bloodied' mech prone on the ground with a nod, Jumpstart glanced down at himself to assess the damage returned. Wiping a trail of fluid from his lip components and then flicking the fluid smears from his opponent from his plating in the process. The dents were sharp but purely cosmetic, the laser burns stung like hot slag and one or two had hit the more vulnerable areas of his plating, leaving scorched holes. He could take far worse than that though.
...Nothin' major...
Satisfied at that, the medic moved on to his next target...

Watertight had continued to lay still. Judging by sound and sent, he realized he was being run at. Bladed fins flattened further against his body, but he knew he could not move and risk giving away his location. Then he found himself startled by something booting him in the side. Weight ran past his back as he realized his shallowly buried body had become an obstacle for a fleeing solider. So much for hiding. Even while he realized he didn't have much of a choice but to come up, did there more serpent-like half of him make a quick motion. The fins on his back sprung up, shooting sand away from his body. The blade-ended tail lifted first, whipping around angrily.
"That hurt."
A shrill hiss tore through the air as the snake's head shot up from the sediment, jaws gaped. His jaws closed as he regained better control over himself. Narrow ice blue eyes flicked to one side as he was distracted by the flailing spider. He flinched, wanting to stay away from the other's struggling limbs. Watertight shook his body out, shifting the sand to place the rest of him above the surface. The best thing he knew to do in such a situation was act threatening. At the time, it wasn't proving too difficult, given that the part of him that was more beastlike was fairly pissed off by being stepped on. The orange and black snake's head steadied and drew in a little closer to the fallen soldier, taking aim. Small claws on his front took hold of the shifting surface and anchored his body. A high trill escaped the serpent as his neck coiled. The head shot foreword without warning, mouth opened at 180 degrees and long thin fangs flicking out.

Silentsong sat up with a start and found herself alone in the med bay accompanied only by a drone. "Scrap!" Silentsong exclaimed as she realized that she'd been left behind in the ship. Silentsong still felt a bit weak as she stood up, but she knew that she couldn't let her fellow Autobots fight while she sat and rested. Silentsong knew that she'd be more of a hindrance than a help if she went out in her condition, she was trying to figure out a solution to the problem when she spotted the sniper rifle that Laser had given her leaning against a wall. Silentsong thought that someone must have grabbed it for her when they left Protihex.
Silentsong quickly took hold of the rifle and ran through the ship to the door. As she made her way outside, Silentsong was struck by the strong winds and the dust particles of the sandstorm. With this low visibility Silentsong wouldn't be able to shoot anything. Silentsong was just about desperate for a way to help her team when she realized something. Low visibility was a good thing for Silentsong. She quickly and carefully placed her sniper rifle back in the ship and ran out into the sand, following the sound of fighting and dispensing her twin daggers into her hands from her palms.
It wasn't long before Silentsong caught up with the other Autobots, Silentsong wasn't sure where team Zeta was, but she did know where the enemy was. Silentsong used the sand as a cover and stayed low to the ground, popping up and making quick work of a few of the Thetacons. Silentsong then realized that she hadn't let her teammates know that she was up and about.
>>I made it to the battle, I haven't been able to locate team Zeta yet, but I will join you as soon as I do so.<<

Vibro continued heading towards the entrance to the temple as he was firing upon the gunners. Using the sand as a camouflage, he throws some grenades at them. This welcome party is just there to delay them. As long as they get to the temple and eliminated most of the threat then they will be nothing. Sending a transmission, he alerts all the autobots to follow his coordinates as they kept diminishing the enemies numbers.
>>"All Autobots, I am making my way towards the entrance. Follow my coordinates along the way there. Once I plant the coordinates beacon, lets just finish off the enemies. Also Silentstrong. Glad to have you back, you will meet your team at the temple. Don't worry about it"<<
With that said, Vibro continued shooting down the minions of the theta cons. He just hope, that the cons haven't found the cube yet.

Carmana followed his team, he was conserving amo, so he was getting up close and slashing at any hostiles. "This is fun! Never saw this kin of action back as a guard bot! Hey, vibro, I never really got to thank you for getting me out of that prison, if you need anything sliced up here, my twin blades and I are yours to command."
