Profile: Long ago he was an explorer but everything changed for him when he found a deceptively simple looking piece of technology. As soon as he touched the device it liquified and forced itself into his body, it quickly and painfully spread throughout him. Upon finally reaching his spark the substance killed him, at least he thought it did, he felt his spark go out but yet he remains conscious? Why he is still aware of everything around him while he has no spark remains a mystery to him. He simply came to the conclusion that he was dead but somehow prevented from leaving the world of the living by the substance which had now replaced his spark. In the light his form remained unaltered but under cover of darkness his body changed into a ghost-like form comprised mostly of shadow. Each night the change occurred he fought it but the pain he suffered trying to hold it back was too great. After several months he gave up fighting against it and discovered that while he was relaxed, not only was the change painless he could control the time in which he changed, limited only by the sunrise and set.
The substance rewarded him for his surrender by giving him more powers. He can go near completely undetected in the shadows, walk through walls, and possess other cybertronians but this usually only works well on drones or the dull witted and weak willed. He can also drain the energy from any bot he can keep a hold of, he could kill a bot in this manner but if he does the substance within him takes him over completely and changes him further into a mindless monster which would drain the energy from every living thing it comes across (one such incident occurred in which he drained a small planet of all life force, the remaining people's last actions against him before they died themselves were to entomb him in a temple-like structure. In the monstrous state his intellect severely depletes making him easy to capture provided there is someone brave enough to try. After several years of being trapped down there his hunger grew and energy dropped so it could no longer sustain the monster form and he reverted back to the first shadow form, with his intellect restored he was able to easily escape his trappings and leave the now dead planet behind. He could remember little of the events leading up to his capture, but one feeling remained in his mind the whole time he was the monster. Fear. Fear of never being able to regain control over himself, he had become a slave to the hunger which only grew each time he killed one of the people on that planet. It was never ending and no matter how hard he tried to hold back the substance wouldn't let him and it forced him to kill again and again. He remembered he had been practicing draining from the animals and plants on that world with no ill effects and that it was only when he killed one of the higher beings that the monster took hold. Using that information he practiced draining the life force of plants and animals on multiple planets along his journey back to Cybertron trying to leave them with just enough energy to remain alive. By the time he returned to Cybertron he had mastered it, though he had yet to test it on a higher being...
The second he landed on Cybertron he begun searching for a lonely bot to drain, it was then that he met Whysp...*
Over the years their bond strengthened and whenever he returns to her after a long period of time she always greets him in the same affectionate manner. Whysp is the only cybertronian Wraith trusts, upon meeting any other bots he would be cold and secretive not even willing to give his name.
At present he lurks in the darkest depths of the undergrid with her, killing off any bots unlucky enough to get lost down there. Discovering that he no longer needs to refuel provided he can gain enough energy from the lost bots he gives any supplies they might have to Whysp. He also does not need to rest as sitting in the shadows slowly regenerates him (heavy damage may take him days or weeks to regenerate), so he instead he looks after Whysp as she rests.
Weaknesses: Over reliance on his special ability. While in Shadow Form, light. If he sees Whysp in trouble he'd drop everything just to help her.
