Echoblade turned towards Kol, relieved that someone wasn't trying to find a reason to kill her. "Hello Kol, I'm Echoblade," Echoblade shook Kol's hand and hoped that she looked more confident than she felt as she awaited a reply from the other Decepticons. Echoblade was scared, but she had gotten herself into this mess, and she was either going to get her self out, or die trying... Hopefully the former and not the latter.

Kol could see Echoblade was uncomfortable. And for a good reason. This was a private operation. These were the Armada's finest, and barging into a ship during midquest was a tad unruly and disrespectful.
"Why don't you take a seat, Mistress?" He beckoned her to sit down, and sat in the chair across from her.
"You'll have to excuse the skepticism of my friends," he said in his smooth, silky voice. His goal was to calm down the environment, but keep it 'real' at the same time. "They are a bit on edge. We've recently experienced...problems, you see? We're all trying to recuperate through this expedition, so forgive us if we seem rude."
Kol began twirling a small blade through his fingers, staring at it as it danced across his hand. "On the other hand...we were assigned on this mission as a unit. We left Kaon over 30 nano-kliks ago, and received no word of your interception." He stopped and motioned to Tonic. "Master Tonic? Can we get her a drink? Someone? Bring her a double grade, if it isn't too much trouble." He went back to speaking with her, without skipping a beat. "Our expedition hasn't been broadcasted either, and, in the military, it is rather strange for recruits to crash elite operations. You must admit we have some reason to be wary of you, in terms of being a spy. Now," he stopped twirling the blade and set it on the table. "You've told us you are a Decepticon, and you don't appear to be hostile, but we need your registration number, rank, and if possible, the order authorizing you to board this vessel during the middle of the mission. Then, we can tell you where we are going."
Kol was quiet, patiently awaiting Echoblade's answer and daring anyone to contradict him. This was the right way to approach this. Not give the lady a third degree interrogation. If she was a Decepticon, she most likely, according to Rexacon, would be reprimanded later and allowed to go on the mission. If she wasn't.....

Tonic knew to back off from Echoblade now, she was right. He wasn’t in charge here, he may have been out of line. Now Kol was taking charge, if he approved of this seeker, then Tonic would not argue. It was amazing at how he said the same as they had, but in an inviting and friendly manner. He had only put her on edge, now Kol had to undue his mistake. Taking a small bow, he went to get a drink for her, talking under his breath.
“Just want to kill some Autobots, that’s even worse than trigger happy. I know war needs lives to be lost, but going out of their way to kill is just.. Well, it’s for them to decide what to do. I should have stayed out, it isn’t my place. My place is to move as they say, to be a voice is theirs. Now let’s see, single, triple. Ah, here’s the double grade. Must be popular, not much left here.”
Pouring out the energon, he placed the glass on a large plate and made his way over towards Echoblade and Kol. He looked at the floor as he approached the seeker, holding out the plate and waited for her to take it before he could back away.
“I’m sorry for speaking out like that. Here is your drink, double grade, just as requested.”

Echoblade sat down and listened to Kol carefully, knowing that misunderstanding even one word of what he said might mean death. Echoblade noticed as soon as Kol started playing with a small weapon. Now Echoblade may not have been the sharpest knife in the drawer, but if she was anything, she was street smart, Echoblade recognized Kol's gesture as an intimidation technique and listened even more carefully after he had pulled it out. She almost said something about not drinking when Kol asked Tonic to get her one, but she decided against it, it was probably best to take anything that was offered, maybe she could get on their good side that way. Echoblade took the glass that Tonic offered her. "I'm sorry too, Tonic was it? Thank you for the drink," Echoblade replied, then she turned to Kol again. "My registration number is 6053, I am a recruit, and I may not have been given any orders, but I am willing to serve in any way possible," Echoblade looked into the glass of Energon and hesitantly took a small sip, she instantly regretted it and had to fight the attempt to spit it out before she swallowed it. If anyone was paying attention they would have seen her make a face and set the Energon down on the table next to her quickly.

"Thank you, Tonic," Kol said as Tonic turned to go, "You're very kind." He turned over his wrist and began activating an embedded tablet.
Kol grinned as he saw Echoblade react to the drink. "Not a drinker, eh? I understand. I myself do it rarely."
"Please excuse me for just a second while I validate your information..." He entered 00006053, and came up with a brief profile, rank and picture. "Miss Echoblade. A recruit. You check out just fine," he said with a smile. " However, you lack the official orders allowing you to be here. Which means--" He gestured to Rexacon,"--it is up to this gentleman to make a decision on whether or not you will stay. Regardless of his verdict, it was a pleasure meeting you, and I look forward to working with you in the future." Kol stood up, nodding to her, and went back to his seat in the back of the aircraft, returning to solitude.

Rexacon watched the whole seen unfold as he couldn't help, but laugh at the scene. Getting up, he went over to Echoblade to examine her. Rubbing his metallic chin nicely, he went over to his seat and spun around to look on where they were going. Raising his hand to gesture, he spoke to give Echoblade his thoughts.
"You can stay, get acquainted with everyone on the ship. Learn their strengths and weakness new recruit because you are going to need them on the battlefield."
Checking the coordinates, they have about one groon(hour) left before reaching the temple.
"We will be within our destination in about one groon(hour)."
Roll looked over at Echoblade as she might as well be the third to introduce herself. Going over to Echoblade, she puts her hand up for a handshake. Learning this new mech would be entertaining, Roll always had the thought of getting some modifications to recruits.
"Name is Roll. After a certain event that we had, you are lucky Kol gave you Rexacon trust. So please do me and the others a favor and prove your worth on the battlefield."

Compile looked at the new arrival and nodded as he thought to himself on how to keep track of the new bot. He smiled as he had an idea, but would have to do it when she was needing repairs. "Compile, Medic," he said to her as he looked and listened. He opened up a compartment on his arm, and pulled out some bombs and went over each, before he replaced them and grinned as he was gonna have fun. "So, we need to stay together and be ready for anything, Autobots and whatever else huh?" he asked and smiled. "SO, if we find anything that might be of use, to grab it and hold onto it huh? And if not, destroy it before the bots can get a hold of it?" he added as he looked at Rex.

Echoblade nodded as she listened to Rexacon approve of her presence on the mission. Despite being scared earlier, she was now very excited. "I will do my very best," Echoblade replied to Roll as she shook her hand. Echoblade turned to Compile as he introduced himself and almost didn't see him. She wondered how a medic that small could do much of anything, but she managed to keep her thoughts to herself. "If any Autobots show up, they'll be in for a big surprise."

"Correct Compile. Such devices must not be allowed to fall into autobot hands."
Rexacon took out a disc and began to install the data of the Iota vault. Pressing a couple of buttons, a small container rises up as the screen shows a picture of a key.
"Computer, forge the key to Iota Vault."
"Complying."
Inside the container began to glow as everyone on the ship could see the key being formatted.
~~
Roll nodded as she went back to her lab to begin working on a project. Since she had an hour left before they arrived, might as well start working on something to kill time.

As soon as Echoblade had taken the drink, Tonic had walked away but stayed within hearing distance. He didn’t like it, but Rexacon had accepted the seeker as one of them. He would stop all hostility toward her now that she was one of them, at least they had one more soldier to lead them to victory. And if both Kol and Rexacon approved this new member, then Tonic was sure Echoblade would be a strong addition to the team. His first impression of her wasn’t very good, but he hadn’t been much better. Might as well try to leave a better impression for a fellow Decepticon. What she had said still stayed in his head as he walked up to Echoblade.
“Again, I’m sorry for being rude before. You seem to have already picked up my name, but I’m Tonic. Good luck out there, I’m sure you’ll do fine.”
Saying that, Tonic walked away without even checking if anyone heard him. It still made him sick to think of a bot wanting to kill others without a given reason. Thinking about it, he wasn’t sure how the other bots here thought about killing. Perhaps they wanted death as well, he had met many like that. Better not to think about it though, the last thing Tonic wanted to do was doubt his own teammates right before an important mission.
