Valk was sliced through like a banana.
With no power, to shield himself or run on, he collapsed to his knees, and died with one last hellish scream as 2 tons of plasma and lasers from everyone shooting at him cut him to pieces. His body parts lay still for a moment--but they turned to dust and whisked away. He was finally dead, and all lay still for the time being.
Laser looked around. No one was dead. He was surprised about that, considering this mention was a level 5 hazard. The Guardians didn't even come here becomes it was far too dangerous. But the AllSpark was there before him, and therefore, it was his for the taking.
He stepped up and touched the Cube.
Millions of years of history flashed through Laser's eyes and the AllSpark began to pulse and fold into itself. With every crank of the box, another energy wave shook the crumbling cavern. The power coursed through Laser's system, and energized his symbiotes to maximum. They healed him in seconds. Once the Cube had folded into it's smallest form, Laser closed his mighty fists around it, and then projected parts of it's history through his blue optics.
"Behold....the Cube."

Silentsong abruptly stopped when Valk met his end. She saw no need to continue running since he'd been eliminated. The blue bot turned off her cloaking device for the time being, noticing that the outcome of the battle was amazingly good. She didn't think she'd ever been in a battle of even half the size of this one without someone ending up mortally wounded. Silentsong looked around to see Echoblade staring at her. The black and red Decepticon had stopped in her tracks as soon as she'd seen the only person she'd ever really been friends with. "Silentsong, is that really y-" she began, but was cut off when the guardian spoke. Both Echoblade and her 'sister' turned towards him, awestruck by what they saw...

Iris was astonished by how easily Valk had been eradicated once everyone had started working together. She was amazed by the strength of the Cybertronians around her, and could not help but marvel at the way each one lended their strengths in the time of need. This was one victory that the Demi-Prime knew she would never forget.
Even though the fragile truce between the Autobots and Decepticons wouldn't last much longer now that the battle was over, Iris wished that they could see how well they had worked together and unite as one to bring peace to Cybertron. At the same time, she couldn't see how that would ever happen, Decepticons fought for blood lust, and such a craving is not easily abandoned.
The Demi-Prime's thoughts were interrupted as the guardian called attention to himself and the Allspark.

Bunker, who had been idly standing by in the fight, putting in a shot or two here and there, had turned his attention to the scene before the Guardian after Valk was defeated. Bunker knew the stories of the cube, as had every bot who had atleast been read the stories as a Young Bot, but to see it infront of his face, and something so big become so small, awestruck him to say at the least.

Cutlass swings his gunblade down from his shoulder digging it into the ground to lean on it. "So now what?" He speaks mainly to himself as he watches Valk fall. Anything further on that subject was silenced at Laser drawing everyone's attention. "Tecton should really see this..." Cutlass sends his audio and visual feed straight to the ship, with the tag: You really should be out here!
---
On the ship:
Tecton paid no attention to the incoming feed. At this time it didn't matter, Volca was all that mattered. I almost have her stable enough to be without the machine...

Anger was building up inside Rexacon, after all the trouble they went to. The autobots got to the cube thanks to their big ally the guardian. The vast knowledge that they now possessed along with the guardian knowing on how to use it. This wasn't over as Roll has managed to obtain a copy of its energy signature. Sending a transmission to the decepticons quietly, it was a defeated tone.
"Decepticons, retreat………we're leaving this dump."
~~
Roll looked amazed as the cube was being shown. Such knowledge and power, a replica would not impossible; however, the knowledge the cube contains can never be duplicated. Roll teleported to Rexacon as she picked him up over her shoulder. Man was he heavy, but this was no time to complain. The autobots have succeeded thanks to their Guardian. It was time for a retreat, a ship should be on the way right now.
"Rexacon…"
Roll began to carry him off towards the entrance, there was no need for them to be here anymore. The guardian is fully healed and the rest of them was wounded, it would be one sided.

Laser watched the Decepticons slowly retreat with relieved optics. He could finally feel the tension in his gears starting to ease up, and symbiotes who worked on his frame slowed their pace, returning to their respective niches to hibernate until the next time they were needed. He twitched a bit, remembering that the powerful thing in the galaxy was right there in his hand. In the palm of his hand.
Worlds were made by the cube. Life. Weapons. War. Everything came from the cube. The Guardians had fought for years and years, and none of them had ever set eyes on something as simply powerful as the AllSpark. With it, one could create new worlds and shape them to their ideal. They could DEFINE life, and model after their own vision! Those with hopes of peace could fashion a legacy of just that, and those with a mind for warfare and mayhem could mold the most disastrous and chaotic armies...they would be all powerful, all knowing. Compared to the Cube, The Nine Guardians were small. Utterly small. And with the cube in hand, Laser felt more empowered than ever before....
He stared at it....taking in all it's history. No one deserved it more than he. After all, who had been fighting all these years to protect Cybertron? Was he not indirectly protecting the Cube itself? Why had he not be rewarded for this? He had not a friend in the universe other than his brothers, and even a few of them had ventured down the wrong path. No one else should be allowed to touch this! He alone should be able to decide what was best for the AllSpark, and therefore, the Galaxy!
His fist wrapped tightly around the little metal box, his eyes flashing...but he then loosened his grip. What had gotten into him? This wasn't he who was talking...the power of the Cube had possessed him. This thing...it was inherently evil, for it was not designed for the meager hands of a mortal...no, it was designed instead for the hands of the greatest and most righteous Primes. The pious and generous Primus, especially. Not Lazarus. For he was far, far from righteous. Far...far from it.
"Take this from me," he ordered Iris. "We will take it to the ship once the Decepticons depart. Is anyone wounded?"
**********
Kol received the transmission from Rexacon. They had failed. The Decepticons had failed massively for the first time since he had officially joined. But were they just going to leave the Cube? Were they just going to walk out on the most important mission now that they were so close?
It dawned on him that he had but suggested the very same thing only minutes before. He felt a shame...and hard, burning shame. He had disappointed Rexacon. But he would form a new plan. With the right set of mind, they could come back and take the AllSpark from the Autobots by force. He knew this. He was confident. He was belligerent. He was--
...he was dying.
Kol fell to his knees. He quickly examined himself. Valk had done something to him. His spark...it was failing. Energy was converting into overkill, with more output than his body could handle. He could feel is spark running cold. His vision was choppy and faded in and out. He could feel the fear moving in on him. His life would have flashed before him, but it was so brief, so filled to the brim of hatred and misuse that he blocked it all out, focusing only on the greatest moments of his life--when he finally shown. When he pulled the crystal city of Iacon from the cold, dying fingers of the enemy. When he finally proved to the Decepticons he was a force to be reckoned with. For once in his life, he had meant something. He was more than just an assassin drone--he had become a soldier.
"....Laser...."
Laser overheard the groan of Kol, and turned to stare at him. "....."
"I...I am blind now...I cannot see you. Laser...are you there?"
"I am here, child."
"You created me, Laser." Kol's visor rolled up, revealing his sole, blood red eye. It was fading in and out. "Laser...can you save me?"
The Guardian did a quick scan. "You are suffering from a rapid expansion of the spark core. Though it does not increase surface area, you are producing far more energon than needed. According to my records, you are producing more than even I can efficiently control....you will die in approximately 48 seconds. There is nothing I can do to reverse this process."
"Valk spoke of things you do in the dark....I've tapped into your mind before, Laser." Kol rolled over. "I am afraid...I am afraid of death....can you save me?"
Laser blinked at him, pondering. "...I can. I can save you. But often, there are some things far more frightening than death, Kol."
"I care not. I only want the chance to redeem myself when the time is right. Please..." Kol drifted off into shock. He would be dead in mere seconds.
Laser flipped a switch on his wrist, opening a strange blue portal. It was thin, and almost invisible. "Then die, Kol." The pulse that came out of the portal ripped into Kol and caused the young drone to scream and beg. His body began to incinerate, and he flailed about in agony. His eye socket exploded, and the body then disappeared, nothing but floating dust. It was done.
Kol was gone.

Looking back at Silentsong, Echoblade opened her mouth to protest against Rexacon's order to leave, but she closed it again when she remembered what had separated the two. Silentsong had abandoned her. As the Autobot turned back to the red bot. The Decepticon gave her a death glare, then turned and left with her fellow teammates.
Silentsong was confused by the glare she received from Echoblade, but she knew that it meant that they would be full-fledged enemies from now on.

Iris took the cube from Laser, honored to be allowed to hold such a powerful object. She felt weird when she touched it though. She had seen the Guardian's reaction, and now she hoped that whatever had made him give her the cube wouldn't affect her in the same way.

Bunker grunted, as he put away his weapons and turned from the sight infront of him. Outsmarted by a rag tag team of Autobots... Bunker thought, as he scowled at the group and followed behind his teammates. This was the first loss he had expirenced, and Bunker sure as heck wasn't going to lose again anytime soon, he was going to be sure of that.
