OOC: Okay, due to the things that had transpired in Carama's post, he had deleted it. In turn, Carmana and Fear are going to sort this out in PM's to help clarify the major confusion going on. This conflict is being dealt with in PM's, in the meantime, everyone can return to posting as they wish

"You ain't even worth the plasma shot from this pistol!" Dropping the pistol he dives forward hoping to get a good grip on Fear's neck.
((OOC: Someone please stop him... I don't want Cutlass to muck this up but his character demands that he would do exactly that in this case, so please hold him back or something...))

"STAND THE FRAG BACK!"
Jumpstart was pulling no punches on this one. Having watched the whole sorry debacle the medic, although just about fit to nail this newcomer - Fear - face first to the floor, knew where his place was. To attain that place, he had to step up and take charge of the scene:
"ALL OF YOU, NOW!"
That was his second shot, verbally at least.
He could handle himself well enough in any form of fight and had no problems facing an enemy down. He'd already made the necessary assessment of his potential opponent in this case and was fairly certain he could take the mech if that was what was needed. First things first though, Silentsong needed his help.
"Pal," he addressed Fear, stepping into plain sight, "You just made a big mistake, but that ain't my problem now, it's yours. Do y'self a favour and move outta the way so I can do my job an' save her life. I'm a medic. That means I ain't a risk to a heavy-hitter like you."
...Who said Autobots had to be truthful all the time?...
"I'll warn ya now though, try an' play that move on me an' I might not be mister popularity in the pack, but these guys won't hold back from doin' what they gotta an' I won't rush myself to waste resources on you. Oath or otherwise. Your call."
Holding his ground, the medic put everything in check. No weapons on show, nothing.

((OOC Nevermind Xenith posted! Yay! Everyone can keep posting. Carmana, what is with you and the pistol? Can you leave it alone for a second? This is not a moment of distraction. Fear holds Silentsong at gunpoint still. Walking up to him during Jumpstart and Fear's heated conversation is a no no. If you like, I'll have Laser give you a pistol. But you'll just have to be patient until this blows over. I'm sorry. Until then, work it out with Fear with PMs.))
Laser grimaced, closing his eyes the second Silentsong was shot in the spine. Well, he'd done it. He'd pissed Fear off. Seeing Cutlass dive at Fear, Laser reached out one hand and grabbed Cutlass, pulling him back and placing an understanding hand on his shoulder as if to say "Patience, brother..."
He also didn't see what was the point of Jumpstart talking to Fear. Everyone had already done so, and it was clearly a waste of time. And it was clear Fear would NOT give Jumpstart the chance to save Silentsong without blowing up those prisoners in Kaon. That was the point of all this. And if he was lying about it, he'd just as soon try to kill whoever else got any closer to him. If Jumpstart was going to try and take charge of the situation, he would need to do better than that.
Seeing no other way out of this, Laser would speak for the final time on the issue.
"If you insist there is no other way to go about this than taking a life, then so be it. You will not be reasoned with. It is life that you are after. Why not take mine, in Silentsong's stead."
Beam had crawled to a window to see what was happening when she heard the gunshot. Overhearing the conversation, she shouted: "No!" But no one could hear her.
Laser saw Beam's little face on the air tight window, but ignored her. "Let everyone back away and board the ship. Let them go on with their lives. Let our incarcerated brethren in Kaon serve their sentences in what little peace they have. Take me instead. Do you understand me, Fear? No one else has to get hurt. Give me the girl, and once they leave, I offer you my life."
Laser still didn't have any faith in Fear's word. The claims he made about the Kaon explosive cells were preposterous and outlandish. Still, he held a gun on Silentsong. And he was rigged like a firecracker. There wasn't much choice in the matter. He would have to try and bargain with him. They weren't getting anywhere standing around and certainly weren't going to get away with attacking him. If this failed however, Laser was done talking. His vocal processors could have very well have gotten them into this.
But if Vibro and Carmana would have killed him in the first place....

((OOC: Sorry for delay all! Band are rehearsing for a festival at the end of the month, so I was manic all over the weekend... Seen as I got called away before I could add Aegis' half of the post, please excuse double-turn ^^; ))
Above, Aegis scanned the gathering looking for an opening to take Fear down a peg or two, but could she manage it without collateral damage to her comrades and the ship? She didn't know. All the same, the femme wheeled about and into a holding pattern at sufficient altitude to be out of range of standard gunfire. Taking her mark, she opened a channel to the guardian: "Holding at 1.5k. Optics on hostile and have partial lock. Await ATP to neutralise threat on your mark. Would advise attaining safe clearance zone to all on ground. Cannot guarantee no damage to red team from guns at this range." She didn't ask for an acknowledgement, her offer was there if her services were required. If no response came, she'd proceed as per prior indication.

Cutlass shrugs the hand from his shoulder giving Fear a dark look before turning away from everyone to look at the ship.
Tecton stands at the rear door of the ship calmly watching and thinking. I may be able to resolve this if I can get close enough, a shot from my EMP blaster should stop him from causing further damage to Silent with that pistol. But how am to get close enough? He steps back into the ship and attempts to activate his faulty cloaking device. He looks down at his translucent form and sighs. This won't do... He deactivates it and instead walks outside. He'll have to think this all out as he goes, thankfully that was something that he was used to doing working for Cutlass... Holding his left arm behind his back he transforms it into the EMP blaster and hides it under a flawless hologram of his original hand, just in case of the worst. He quietly moves forward to join the rest.
Hearing Beam shout Volca rushes over to where she was looking out of the window. "What's happening out there?"

"I am impressed with you Autobots. Here I am trying to break your moral code and you've yet to allow me. Needless to say, you win this round. You have made your choice."
Fear carelessly shot at Laser. Whether or not he was alive was no longer his concern. He stepped off Silentsong and nodded to Jumpstart.
"Her life is in your hands now doctor. Good luck."
Fear paid no attention to his pistol being taken by Carmana. It was obvious that the young Autobot had an unhealthy obsession with that pistol. He decided this strange infatuation was not worth his time.
He then pressed a button on a device near the IEDs strapped to his chest, a teleportation device. And with that, Fear was long gone, his new whereabouts unknown.

Watertight had walked to board the ship, the same as everyone else who was about to leave for the mission. He kept quiet and toward the back though, somewhat shy about confrontation. Since he was a distance away, it took him longer that it should have for him to figure out what was going on when shit hit the fan. With a jolt, the blue bot realized they had a hostage situation. By what his audio receptors managed to pick out, it could have been much worse than that. He wanted to believe Fear was only bluffing, but he didn't want to risk moving at all in case the threats were true. Watertight couldn't even manage a word. Rather, at some point, a threating hiss spilled from his fangs.
His cyan visor dulled as he closed his shutters upon seeing Silentsong hit. The aquatic Autobot was still debating what was morally right when it happened. Fear didn't give him enough time to reach the only conclusion he felt was right - that neither of the given options were morally right. But still, there had to be a choice made. Without his consent though, it appeared that choice was made already. The villainous robot made his leave soon after. Raising from his crouch, somewhat shell shocked, Watertight could only stare at the fem for a short time. Watertight was a thinker and it wasn't hard to get him musing on something or other. Was it really right to let one be sacrificed for the good of many? He didn't think so, but sometimes pain and death had to happen. It was just...the natural order.
The snake-like mech shook his head, to get himself out of the daze and leaned in. His feet brought him in toward the wounded fem before he even thought about it. Watertight wasn't going to sit around anymore, even if he was apprehensive in his approach.

Silentsong didn't notice anything around her, she was focused on staying alive. Silentsong had to struggle to breathe, and as Energon leaked from her wound she felt an overwhelming urge to go into stasis, but she fought to stay conscious, she knew that if she went into stasis she was as good as dead. Silentsong only hoped that Fear wouldn't harm anyone else.
